Lead the Academy’s long-term direction and keep its work aligned with the future needs of Caythorpe Cricket Club’s men’s and women’s teams.
- Set priorities for player development and the Academy pathway.
- Coordinate the coaching, operations and welfare leads, with clear responsibilities and regular review.
- Oversee the funding model, proposed budget and use of resources for Academy player development.
- Report progress and decisions through the club’s agreed governance arrangements.

Keep player welfare central to the Academy and coordinate safety and safeguarding through the club’s established procedures.
- Act as a clear welfare contact for players, parents and Academy staff.
- Support appropriate supervision, safe activities and respectful communication.
- Coordinate required safeguarding checks and training with the club’s safeguarding lead.
- Ensure concerns are passed promptly through the club’s reporting process and handled confidentially.

Turn the Academy plan into organised, reliable delivery for players, families and coaches.
- Coordinate venue bookings, session schedules and practical arrangements.
- Maintain attendance, parent communications and Academy administration.
- Organise equipment and support the tracking of payments and agreed spending.
- Keep information up to date and help the team resolve delivery issues.

Lead the coaching programme and create purposeful, challenging and supportive learning experiences for Academy players.
- Plan the coaching programme around player needs and progression towards senior cricket.
- Coordinate coaches and prepare clear objectives for each session.
- Guide individual development plans, feedback and player review conversations.
- Model Maximum Effort, Be Coachable and Put the Team First, working closely with the welfare and operations leads.
